Saturday, December 10 at ACP – last ACP Race of Fall Series What a perfect day for a race and a terrific track! Thanks to the rain earlier this week, the deep natural watering and careful track prep, we could not have asked for better track conditions! Add 22 eager AZOT racers – and several who decided to maximize the opportunity with extra classes. More about that later. Race Recap - Fall Series #9 - ACP
ACP on Saturday, December 11: Great turnout for the last race of the Fall Series – total of 36 AZOT racers! We had 5 Master, 9 Expert (way to go, guys … we called and you showed up), 14 Intermediate and 8 Novice. Despite several frustrating challenges – racing a last-minute borrowed bike due to a serious engine problem, scouting for a missing lever, a couple of broken spokes, pushing an ankle injury - they all made it to their gates. December Events - Last Race!
Happy December! After a brief break we are ready to finish off the AZOT fall series with round 9 on Saturday December 11 at Arizona Cycle park. Gates open at 7:00, practice starts at 9:00. Register for the race here! There is still quite a bit of drama in the Fall Series: In the Master Class, Tee Stefaniac leads, but Ricky Arnold and Ryan Pedigo can each add one more race to their best 7, while Tee can only improve on a previous score because he already has 7 counting.
